5:44pm Saturday 7th January 2012 in Harriers
Harriers boss Steve Burr felt his team deserved all three points after they saw off Hayes and Yeading with three late goals on Saturday.
The Aggborough outfit had been trailing to Luke Williams' first half strike.
However, Harriers cranked up the pressure in the second half and it finally told when Steve Guinan scored in the 81st minute.
Jamille Matt and Nick Wright then pounced in time added on to ensure Harriers made it 11 games unbeaten in all competitions.
Victory also propelled them into the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off spots, rising two places to fifth.
"It was a great win," commented Burr.
"In the first half in particular I thought Hayes played really well, they closed us down.
"I did think in the second half with the chances we created I thought it wasn't going to be our day.
"I felt our performance was good, it may not have been quite up to our previous games but in the second half I think we were worth the win because we kept going and stuck the ball in the net when it mattered."
Harriers will be aiming for points on their travels when they take on play-off chasing rivals Gateshead on Tuesday night away (7.45pm kick-off).
