Harriers boss Steve Burr believes success on two fronts will only spur his side on this season, aftey they swept into the FA Trophy's last 16 with a 5-1 win over Droylsden on Saturday.

Goals for Steve Guinan (2), Nick Wright, Dan Bradley and Jamille Matt means the Aggborough outfit will be in Monday's third round draw.

With sixth-placed Harriers also pushing for a place in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-offs, they have the momentum to battle on two fronts.

"It's an ambition of mine to take a team to Wembley and walk out with it there," commented Burr.

"We've still got an opportunity to do it this season and if we don't do it this year I will try next season.

"It's not a distraction, winning games gives you confidence and it was nice to bounce back from the loss to Gateshead."

The home side had to step it up a gear in the second half as their opponents from the Conference North had played well and pulled a goal back to go into the break just 2-1 down.

But two goals early in the second half took the game away from the Manchester-based club.

"I am very pleased we've got through to the next round, I thought Droylsden deserved a lot of credit in the first half," added Harriers' manager.

"Our finishing was top class today but in the first half Droylsden were one of the best footballing sides I have seen at Aggborough this season.

"We did give them a bit of space and time but we managed to sort that out at half-time and then I thought in the second half we upped our game with a lot better tempo to it."
