HARRIERS boss Steve Burr believes the fans will play an important part in tomorrow's Blue Square Bet Premier finale against Mansfield (1pm kick-off).

The club are eager to have a packed out Aggborough for the visit of the Stags as the promotion chase reaches its thrilling conclusion.

Three points on Saturday and defeat for Luton at championships Fleetwood would ensure the final play-off spot.

The fans have came out in their droves in recent weeks as Harriers have kept their dreams of reaching the Football League alive and kicking.

Harriers sent 10 coaches to Luton on Saturday as a 751-strong army of supporters backed the team in the 1-0 loss to play-off rivals Luton.

However, the club are hoping the biggest home crowd of the campaign can roar the team to success.

Burr said: “The support we got on Saturday was amazing, the fans were great and it was superb to see to many at Luton.

“They will play their part again and we want the place rocking for Saturday.

“The players feeds off the crowd and it gives them something a little bit extra.”

Harriers have injury problems going into the all-important clash, with Nick Wright (knee) and Kyle Storer injury doubts.

Storer went into Saturday's clash at Luton with a slight knock which was aggravated by his efforts.

Jack Byrne is not expected to have recovered from the hamstring injury which has kept him out for the last few matches.

It means Callum Gittings or Dan Bradley could be vying for a place in midfield.

Harriers will be hoping Paul Cox's impressive Stags side will have the play-offs on their minds.

Mansfield have already secured third place and will be concentrating on the two-legged semi-final.

Saturday's visitors to Aggborough have been on a great run of form, with just two defeats in 20 matches steering them into the top five.

But Harriers have already got the better of Mansfield this campaign, producing one of their best performances of the season with a 3-0 win in September.

Shuttle Online will have live match updates from tomorrow's must-win league clash (1pm kick-off).
