PREVIEW: Forest Green v Harriers

First published in Conference Premier

HARRIERS boss Steve Burr has warned tomorrow's opponents Forest Green Rovers will be a challenge.

The Aggborough outfit go into the game at The New Lawn in a play-off spot, ahead of their Gloucestershire rivals on goal-difference.

That Harriers are above Forest Green is remarkable, especially after losing 1-0 to them at home in August.

That defeat was the culmination of their awful opening month, which left them bottom of the table.

But since then Harriers have roared back and after seven straight league wins are the form team.

Burr said: "I thought we were a bit unlucky when we met them at our place but I also thought they were one of the best sides we played, so we know we're in for a very tough game.

"We've been on a fantastic run of results, it is incredible really.

"We asked the lads if they could get into the play-off position before the end of the year, that is a fantastic achievement considering where we were at the start of the campaign.

"I always think the hard work starts again and we've got to go again now.

"The Hereford game will have taken a lot out of the lads, so we've got to make sure we're fresh for Forest Green on Saturday."

Fans unable to make the clash, which also is televised on Premier Sports and kicks-off at 5.15pm, can follow all the action with The Shuttle's live match blog.

We will also have a full-time match report and reaction.
