60:00: Striker Rob Gradwell pounces on a loose ball but shoots well wide.

59:00: Lee Baker exchanges passes with the peerless Chris McPhee but his cross from the left wing isn't good enough and it'd a goal-kick.

Kidderminster Shuttle: substitution 58:00: Substitution Striker Scott Fitzgerald replaces midfielder Marc Canham. Hayes are going for it.

56:00: Brian Smikle sees a shot blocked by Tom Cadmore in the box. The winger plays ball back to Matthew Barnes-Homer, but his low shot is saved by the keeper.

55:00: Harriers earn a corner when Lee Baker's cross is headed behind. From the set-piece Martin Riley heads behind.

50:00: Hayes are putting up a fight and Danny Allen-Page heads just wide.

49:00: A worrying moment is saved by Gavin Caines. Dale Binns' chips a shot over keeper Dean Coleman but Gavin Caines clears the danger.

46:00: Right, Hayes will have to change things around and be a bit more ambitious in the second half. For Harriers, they just need to build on the momentum they gained through the goal. A second early on should be enough to kill off the visitors.

Kidderminster Shuttle: whistle icon 45:00: Half time Plus three minutes: That's it. A pretty poor first half lit up by a well-crafted goal. Harriers can go into the second half with a lot of confidence. They have improved steadily as the game went on and things are looking good.

45:00: There's three minutes of additional time for Harriers to score.

42:00: Matthew Barnes-Homer's tail is up. He cuts in from the left and curls a decent shot just wide. This is more like it from Harriers.

40:00: The goal has changed the game and Harriers looked more confident, while Hayes' game plan goes out of the window.

Kidderminster Shuttle: Goal icon 35:00: Goal! Matthew Barnes-Homer scores! Harriers score with their first real chance of the game. David McDermott directs a cross into the path of the hitman, who slots the ball past keeper Simom Overland.

31:00: Matthew Barnes-Homer pounces on an error and powers towards goal. He's surrounded by three players and is clearly fouled. The referee doesn't blow for a free-kick, much to the annoyance of manager.

30:00: Matthew Barnes-Homer spins in the box and hooks an overhead shot high over the bar after Liam Dolman's long throw-in dissected Hayes' defence.

26:00: Harriers are seeing more of the ball but Hayes are happy to sit back and defend doggedly. At the moment the hosts aren't cohesive enough to worry the new boys.

23:00: Unfortunately, Lee Baker's 20-yard effott hits the wall.

21:00: Harriers have a free-kick from a good position after a foul on Chris McPhee from Matt Ruby.

20:00: With the home fans going a but quiet, Mark Yates' distinctive bark can be heard around Aggborough.

11:00: Harriers first potent attack. Liam Dolman deliversd a decent low cross from the right to the near post. Chris McPhee slides in but Matt Ruby goes with him and thwarts the chance. He needs some treatment after going in.

9:00: Harriers' first attempt on goal. Matthew Barnes-Homer's scuffed shot is wide from 20-yards out.

7:00: Gavin Caines is forced to hack the ball away as Rob Gradwell chasea a long ball forward. Dean Coleman should have came out and claimed that ball.

5:00: Ooh, that was worrying! Dean Coleman fumbles a cross from Danny Allen-Page for a corner. Harriers defend the set-piece well.

3:00: The home fans are in good voice but Hayes have started well and don't look awed.

0:00: There's one surprise to Harriers' line-up. Manager Mark Yates has handed Blue Square Premier home debut to Liam Dolman at right back, ahead of Duane Courtney, who's on the bench. The manager has picked a 4-3-1-2 formation, with Chris McPhee and Matthew Barnes-Homer up front, with Darryl Knights playing in the hole. Dean Coleman is goalkeeper, with Lee Baker at left-back and Gavin Caines and Martin Riley centrebacks. If newly promoted Hayes cause Harriers problems, Kyle Hadley and John Finnigan are on the bench if needed.

0:00: Good afternoon Harriers faithful! Welcome to Shuttle Online's first live match updates of the season. The sun is beating down on Aggborough and their's plenty of optimisim in the air.

0:00: Harriers have bad memories against newly promoted teams on the first day of the season. They have failed to beat St Albans and Lewes in recent years. Hayes boss Garry Haylock makes seven changes to the line-up that won the BS South's play-offs in May. New signing Simon Overland is in goal, with Adam Green at left-back and James Mulley on the right of defence. Tom Cadmore and Matt Ruby are the centrebacks. In midfield, Marc Canham, Justin Cochrane and Ram Marwa are in the central positions, with Danny Allen-Page on the right and Dale Binns on the left flank. Up front, Hayes and Yeading have Robert Gradwell as a lone hitman.
