4:50pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Final whistle It's over! A great first half attacking display is matched by an equally excellent defensive showing. It was backs-to-the-wall at times but they hung on in there. The Harriers fans sing Steve Burr's name and go home very happy.

4:05pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Grimsby create a good chance. Andrew Wrightt delivers a good cross from the left and Alan Connell rises for it and misses. He complains that Lee Vaughan, who went with him, mighht have pushed him but the referee ignores that.
4:03pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Grimsby are bound to improve in the second half, so Harriers will have to stand strong. The visitors try to lay siege to the home defence and force two corners. Pete Bore also drives into box but loses out in a challenge.
3:47pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Half time Excellent first half performance by Harriers. They were irresitable for long periods and Grimsby's defence looks vulnerable.

3:44pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Harriers come close again. Matty Blair and Keith Briggs tease the Grimsby defence by holding possession on rhe right side. Briggs sends in a probing pass that comes off a Grimsby man and falls to Chris McPhee on edge of box. His shot is blocked by Scott Garner but falls into Lee Morris' path. The ball's at an awkward height and the hitman fires wide.
3:42pm Sun 10 Oct 10: That goal has really energised the home fans behind Danny Lewis, they're singing their hearts out.
3:40pm Sun 10 Oct 10: First real sign of life from Grimsby top scorer Alan Connell, who blazed a shot over from distance.
3:33pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Goal! A perfect reply by Harriers! This time, Jack Byrne meets Callum Gittings' corner with a fine header. Matty Blair steals in and at close range nods it past the keeper.
3:30pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Goal! Grimsby pull a goal back. Lee Vaughan slipped at the wrong moment and the ball fell to winger Rob Eagle, who fired a low angled effort across Danny Lewis into bottom right corner. Good finish but a but unlucky for Harriers.
3:27pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Harriers have a corner to defend. At the far post, Darren Kempson fires wide.
3:23pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Harriers are still on top. They've silenced the away crowd and continue to press.
3:22pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Matty Blair is scaring the life out right back Bradley Wood. This time he cuts in from the wing and despite being given many options, squared it to Keith Briggs, who fired over the bar from edge of area.
3:20pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Yellow card Darran Kempson is booked for a scything challenge on Matty Blair as he raced down the right wing.
3:16pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Harriers have a free-kick after Lee Morris is fouled by Grimsby defender. The away side can't clear it properly and Harriers win a corner. Callum Gittings' delivery is a good one but Chris McPhee can't get a clear connection and the ball goes wide.
3:10pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Goal! What a goal by Matty Blair! Mike Williams had crossed the ball in and after a Grimsby defender hadn't cleared it properly. It feel to Blair on the edge of box and he lofted a lovely volley over the keeper into top left corner.

3:04pm Sun 10 Oct 10: Goal! Harriers had started very brightly and Chris McPhee confirms that with a goal. CMcPhee fed the ball smartly to Lee Morris, who raced goalwards, cut in and curled a good shot from the edge of the area goalwards. The shot is parried by the keeper but McPhee rushes in and despite falling, scores.
