- Kick off: 3:00pm Sat 3 Mar 12
- Venue: Aggborough
- Final score:
- Kidderminster Harriers 1 - 2 AFC Barrow
4:52pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Final whistle It's over! Harriers paid the price for five minutes of madness. In truth, despite their efforts, Harriers lacked a bit of cutting edge against a side who defended en masse.
4:51pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Final Barrow sub: Andy Nicholas on for Mackreth.
4:50pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Harriers see a change go begging. From a right wing cross, Nick Wright heads across the box but the ball seems to come off Jack Byrne's head and over the bar.
4:46pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Four minutes time added on for Harriers to pull off a fight back!
4:45pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Andy Cook nearly adds a third Barrow goal when his powerful low strike hits the base of the post.
4:42pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Substitution Harriers change 84: Guinan on for Hendrie.
4:41pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Anthony Malbon stings Pearson's palm with a firm 25-yard effort.
4:39pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Callum Gittings blocks Jack Mackreth's shot after Tony Breeden had saved Adam Boyes's effort. All that came from an error by Luke Jones.
4:36pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Substitution Harriers sub 79: Nick Wright replaces Rowe.
4:34pm Sat 3 Mar 12: With Harriers pushing forward, they are vulnerable to Jack Mackreth's pacy raids. He makes one such attack, and Gittings clears behind for a corner. The visitors can't make it tell though.
4:33pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Harriers force two successive corners but Barrow, who are sitting back, repel the home side.
4:32pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Paul Smith handles the ball 20-yards out but from the free-kick, Marvin Johnson shoots over the bar.
4:30pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Byrne is foled and from the FK, Storer squares it to Lee Vaughan who from 30-yards out sees a decent effort saved by keeper.
4:28pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Gittings delivers a deep cross from the left but Malbon misses it.
4:27pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Kyle Storer clips in a decent 20-yard effort which is just wide of left post.
4:25pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Lee Hendrie makes a good run into box. The ball falls to Ryan Rowe but Gavin Skelton blocks his shot. Harriers huffing and puffing a bit.
4:22pm Sat 3 Mar 12: There's a spot of handbags here as Lee Hendrie takes exception to a clumsy challenge from behind by Paul Smith. They're ordered to get on with it by referee.
4:18pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Substitution Second Barrow change in 61st, with Adam Boyes replacing Alex-Ray Harvey.
4:17pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Yellow card Jack Byrne picks up a booking for a foul on Danny Hone.
4:16pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Substitution Barrow make first sub, replacing striker Chris Turner with Paul Rutherford.
4:15pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Ryan Rowe does well to get in a shot, which after a slight deflection is saved by keeper.
4:13pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Harriers have had a lot of offsides, not all of which have been accurate. This time Johnson slips Hendrie down left and flag goes up again harshly.
4:12pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Harriers are trying to push and Ryan Rowe's cross forces a corner. From Hendrie's delivery, Mike Williams's far post header is saved.
4:11pm Sat 3 Mar 12: By all accounts, Michael Briscoe went off with a back injury.
4:08pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Ryan Rowe plays in Malbon who is just a fraction offside.
4:07pm Sat 3 Mar 12: There's a beautiful rainbow over Aggborough and it's Harriers who are searching for the treasure at the end...by that I mean a goal.
4:04pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Lee Hendrie sees a shot saved by Shaun Pearson.
3:46pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Half time That's the break. If not for five minutes of defensive madness as Harriers adjusted to the reshuffle at the back, they would deservedly in the lead. As it is, they have once again made life difficult for themselves. Anthony Malbon is looking particularly sharp up front and is linking up nicely with Ryan Rowe.
3:44pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Anthony Malbon is slipped in by Ryan Rowe and he drives in a low shot which keeper Shaun Pearson saved and then grasped as is rolled slowly towards goal.
3:42pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Since Storer's effort, Harriers have been pushing Barrow back in search of leveller. No success yet.
3:33pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Harriers are fighting back well. Kyle Storer's right-footed FK arrows towards bottom right corner but keeper Shaun Pearson saves well.
3:30pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Goal! Anthony Malbon is a superb player and he pulls a special goal back. He races forward intelligently and after Lee Vaughan's fine forward pass bounces once, he smashes a first-time effort over the keeper. Brilliant!
3:24pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Goal! After a solid start, Harriers have collapsed. Emergency left-back Callum Gittings brings down a Barrow player in the box for a penalty. Richie Baker slots ball into bottom left corner.
3:23pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Penalty to Barrow!
3:19pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Goal! Harriers go behind to a fluke goal. From a corner, Lee Hendrie's clearance looped over his and Jack Mackreth headed into the back of the net. Tony Breeden had saved brilliantly but ball was already over the line.
3:14pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Substitution Harriers change: Michael Briscoe must have a knock as he's replaced by Callum Gittings. The sub will go to LB as Mike Williams will move to central defence.
3:10pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Marvin Johnson delivers a perfect left wing cross. Anthony Malbon leaps like a salmon and from six-yards out sees a good header hit the bar.
3:07pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Lee Hendrie evades a tackle in the centre circle and tries to send Anthony Malbon free with a good forward pass but a Barrow defender reads it well and snuffs the danger out.
3:05pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Marvin Johnson jinks past two defenders on the left and wins a corner. The former Romulus man looks sharp today. Unfortunately, Harriers can't make set-piece work for them.
3:03pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Not a bad start here. First, a Richie Baker free-kick flew through a crowded Harriers box. It just needed a touch to test Tony Breeden, but no one made contact. At the other end, Lee Hendrie shoots over after Marvin Johnson's cross wasn't cleared properly.
3:00pm Sat 3 Mar 12: Barrow have Andy Cook and Chris Turner up front, while former Harrier Adam Boyes is on the bench. Barrow (4-4-2): Pearson (GK); Smith (RB); Skelton (LB); Bolland (CB); Hone (CB); Mackreth (RF); Baker (RM); Owen (CM); Harvey (LM); Cook (S); Turner (LS).
