- Kick off: 2:00pm Sat 6 Dec 08
- Venue: Aggborough
- Final score:
- Kidderminster Harriers 3 - 2 Salisbury
94:00: Final whistle The final whistle blows and Harriers survive a genuine scare to bag all three points.
93:00: A good break by Harriers go begging when Matthew Barnes-Homer's cross on the right is too high.
92:00: Harriers are under pressure but clears a corner.
91:00: Yellow card Mark Creighton is booked for descent.
90:00: Substitution Luke Jones replaces Brian Smikle to help shore up Harriers.
89:00: Substitution Tim Bond comes on for Salisbury midfielder Ian Herring. Hopefully he's shaken and not stirred.
88:00: Matthew Barnes-Homer was unfortunate not to score. He did well to hold off Djoumin Sangare as he powered into the box and fired in a low drive across goal. Unfortunately, his shot hit the post.
85:00: Both sides are looking lively but have not carved out any more chances, yet.
80:00: Substitution Justin Richards has been replaced by Chris Beardsley.
74:00: Harriers need to get their act together. A game they should be winning comfortably is on a knife edge. From the touchline Mark Yates berates his players' sloppyness.
71:00: Substitution Martin Brittain is replaced by David McDermott.
70:00: A double save from Adam Bartlett comes to Harriers' rescue. First he dives down to block Robbie Sinclair's powerful low drive and then sticks out a hand at the post to palm Sean Clohessy's effort behind.
68:00: Justin Richards is just put off by the robust Djoumin Sangare as he powers into the box.
65:00: Goal! A mistake by Mark Creighton allows Salisbury to battle back. He loses the ball to Daniel Webb on the right and his cross was fired home by Brian Dutton from the edge of the box.
63:00: Substitution Charles Ademeno is replaced by Luke Riddick.
60:00: Harriers keeper Adam Bartlett dives to palm behind Brian Dutton's bullet header from a free-kick.
58:00: Salisbury haven't given up and from a corner, Djoumin Sangare's header is deflected behind off Martin Riley.
55:00: Goal! Harriers double their lead thanks to Scott Bartlett's own goal. Brian Smikle's cross is deflected and the hapless midfielder beats James Bittner at the far post.
53:00: Yellow card Daniel Webb is booked for a foul on Mark Creighton.
52:00: Salisbury are clearly buoyed by the goal and Charles Griffin wins a corner. Martin Riley heads the ball away.
50:00: Cagey start by both teams to the second half. Harriers look a little taken aback by Salisbury's goal.
46:00: Half time The whistle blows for half-time. Harriers should be 4-0 up and Mark Yates will be furious that Salisbury have grabbed a lifeline.
45:00: Goal! Plus two minutes: Harriers are caught out when Robbie Sinclair is allowed to send a ball in and an unmarked Charlie Griffin bags his eights goal of the season.
45:00: Justin Richards wastes another good chance. This time Salisbury's static defence is dissected by a 30-yard Keith Lowe pass. Richards break from midfield and instead of squaring the all to Matthew Barnes-Homer sees his sho saved.
42:00: Great work by Brian Smikle, who turns a scrappy ball into a good chance. He speeds past Sean Clohessy, gets to the byline and sends in a cross that Russ Penn doesn't read.
41:00: A late flag rules out Justin Richards for offside. That was very close.
40:00: Substitution Whites boss Chris Holmes takes off the ineffective Matthew Robinson for Scott Bartlett.
38:00: Harriers are all over Salisbury like a rash. This is an ideal chance for Harriers to improve their goal-difference.
37:00: Russ Penn fires in a low shot from edge of area that James Bittner touches wide.
36:00: Salisbury's defence is all at sea again. This time Jon Bass does well to prod Matthew Barnes-Homer's low cross over his own bar.
34:00: This too easy for Harriers and they are almost caught napping. Once again Charles Ademeno sends in a decent cross that an unmarked Robbie Sinclair side foots wide from the edge of the box.
30:00: Goal! Matthew Barnes-Homer grabs Harriers' second goal. He rushes onto a goal-kick. His first shot beats the keeper but hits the post but he was on hand to sweep home the rebound.
29:00: Harriers are almost caught out. Robbie Sinclair sends in a right wing cross that Charlie Griffin volleys just off target.
27:00: Martin Riley's delicate ball finds its way to Brian Smikle but the winger is ruled off side.
25:00: Justin Richards can't believed he did not score. Dean Bennett had made a good run from his marker and directed Keith Lowe's pass to a totally unmarked Richards in the box. He takes a touch instead of hitting it first time and the keeper dives on the ball.
23:00: Harriers are cranking up the pressure and win another corner but Salisbury clear the danger. Harriers' fans are in good voiceand cheering their team on.
21:00: Dean Bennett comes very close to scoring. He cut in from the left and fired in a low right-foot shot that James Bittner looked to have before hitting a divot. The keeper palmed it behind for a corner.
19:00: If Harriers are in a ruthless mood they could notch up a cricket score. However, they must not sit back and take it for granted that they will win this game. Charles Ademeno is proving a handful on the wing but can't get a cross in.
17:00: Justin Richards falls under attention from Djoumin Sangare 20-yards out. The referee ignores the calls for a foul.
15:00: Harriers look capable of carving sorry Salisbury open at will. Once again Matthew Barnes-Homer roasted Bass for pace on the right. He sends in a low skidding cross that misses Justin Richards, who was in a central position in the box, before Brian Smikle misses the ball.
10:00: Harriers come close again and are only denied by Salisbury's keeper. Martin Brittain delivers another tasty cross that dips at the far post for Matthew Barnes-Homer. Jamie Bittner jumps and just plucks it off his head.
9:00: Salisbury try and attack and Charles Ademeno makes a strong run down the right wing. His cross is headed on by Charlie Griffin but Martin Riley clears
8:00: Goal! Harriers grab an early lead thanks Jon Bass's own goal. Martin Brittain delivered a good cross from the right that a diving Justin Richards just missed. As the Salisbury man comes in he bundles beyond the keeper.
5:00: Matthew Barnes-Homer speeds past Jon Bass on the right, takes a touch and tries to lift it beyond keeper James Bittner as he rushes out. He's unlucky not to see it drip just wide of a post.
1:00: Matthew Barnes-Homer has a good chance when he tries to round the keeper after an error by Brian Dutton but keeper James Bittner rushes out to clear the ball.
0:00: Salisbury boss Nick Holmes has had to cope with a host of players leaving in the last few weeks and as such has fielded a 4-1-4-1 formation. It means that striker Charles Ademeno will be leading the line on his own. In defence are Matthew Robinson, Jon Bass, Djoumin Sangare and Sean Clohessy. The five-man midfield consists of Daniel Webb, Ian Herring, Brian Dutton, Charlie Griffin and Robbie Sinclair.
0:00: After a week off because of the FA's reporting restrictions, Shuttle Online's live match coverage is back! I know you're all very excited about our return and we've got the most up to date team news for today's game. Striker Justin Richards is back in the side after a two-match absence and partners Matthew Barnes-Homer in attack. Dean Bennett makes his first Blue Square Premier start since August's loss at Mansfield because Andy Ferell is suspended for a match. Otherwise, it's same as usual for Harriers. On the bench Mark Yates has strikers Stefan Moore, Darryl Knights and Chris Beardsley, as well as midfielder David McDermott and defender Luke Jones.
