That is it! Harriers hold on for a great win. They were very good in the first half but it was their defensive qualities that came to the fore in the second period. Even when Sean Clancy was harshly sent off, the whole team kept Mansfield at bay! Well done lads!

It looks as though Chris Clements and Kyle Storer have got entangled while battling for the ball. It looks for a moment that tempers might flare but it all calms down.

37- Johnson crosses from the right and Demetriou races in and sees his header hit the bar. It also looked as though Briscoe had handled the ball as it went behind for a corner but the referee was unmoved despite Harriers' remonstrations.

Dunkley heads the corner out and Lindon Meikle tries a low long range shot which Danny Lewis saves well.

12- Anthony Malbon misses a really good chance! A slip by Geohaghon allowe James Vincent to break into the box and slop the ball to the striker but from 12 yards out he shoots wide.

The ball is touched to Demetriou, who blasted in a fine shot, which was just a fraction too high.

It should be remembered that Harriers' defence has been built on a rock solid defence this season. The keeping of Josh Gowling was a very important move. The question is, can remaining the strikers score goals?

Anthony Malbon starts against the side which resulted in him being airlifted to hospital on the final day of the season.

Luckily, the young striker was not seriously injured.

As I recall he was fouled recklessly by Louis Briscoe, so it will be interesting to serif there is any fireworks between them this afternoon.

Stags boss Paul Cox fields the same wide which narrowly lost to Liverpool in the FA Cup third round. That means former Reds skipper Exodus Geohaghon, who had a brief and unhappy spell at Aggborough, starts.
