Guinan - Pressure is on our rivals
HARRIERS coach Steve Guinan believes the 1-0 win over AFC Telford will only heap more pressure on their rivals for promotion in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Marvin Johnson bagged the game's only goal as Steve Burr's side cemented their place in the top five.
The Aggborough outfit are fifth in the table but only five points behind leaders Grimsby Town.
And while Harriers have played more games than all their rivals for the Football League, Guinan is sure points at this stage are more important than a packed fixture list.
He said: "We looked at the fixture list and saw a lot of games would be off.
"Although we've played a few more games than other teams we've got points on the board and other teams will be looking at us and thinking they have to close that gap.
"It wasn't the prettiest game but at this stage of the season three points are what matters.
"If we keep chalking up results like that you never know where you're going to finish.
"I will take plenty more one-nils if it leads to promotion."
