PREVIEW: Harriers v Cambridge
1:48pm Friday 8th February 2013 in News
HARRIERS will be hoping they get a chance to unleash new signings Nathaniel Jarvis and Amari Morgan-Smith when they welcome in-form Cambridge United to Aggborough tomorrow.
The loan pair missed a chance to debut last weekend because Newport County called off the clash because of a waterlogged pitch.
The duo will be vying with Nathan Blissett, Anthony Malbon and Ryan Rowe for a forward berth in the starting line-up.
Harriers build will be looking to further cement fifth place in the Blue Square Bet Premier, while the resurgent U's, who are unbeaten in 13 league matches, are eager to close in on Steve Burr's side.
"Cambridge are like ten other sides in this league, they are a massive club who have been in the Football League," said assistant boss Gary Whild.
"Nothing changes if they are on a good run or a bad run, they are a top side in this league and have got good support, so it will be a difficult game for us.
"It is massively important at this stage of the season to pick up as many points as we can."
Keith Briggs is a doubt because of his recurring knee injury, but Danny Jackman, James Vincent and Callum Gittings all got much-needed game time in the mid-week loss to Redditch in the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
