PREVIEW: Forest Green v Harriers
12:00pm Tuesday 19th February 2013 in News
Battle expected: Steve Burr
BOSS Steve Burr is expecting a heavyweight battle when Harriers go to promotion rivals Forest Green Rovers.
There will be little to choose between the sides at the New Lawn.
Harriers go to Gloucestershire in fifth place, two positions and three points behind Dave Hockaday's side.
The Aggborough outfit will also be aiming to avenge their 1-0 defeat at home in August.
Harriers had bossed that match after Omar Koroma's sending off but James Norwood ensured all three points for Rovers.
That was Harriers' fifth straight loss at the start of season and left them bottom of the table.
But since then, they have lost just three times more, won 15 and drawn eight games to turn themselves into genuine contenders for the play-offs.
"Forest Green are one of the best sides we have played this season so we know we're in for a tough game," said Burr.
"In saying that not a lot of teams want to play us at the moment.
"You get the enjoyment from winning, you get the enjoyment from watching the players express themselves."
Harriers go into the match on the back of 12 wins in 15 matches, while Forest Green Rovers have recorded back-to-back victories over Gateshead and Braintree.
Anthony Malbon is expected to be okay after coming off on Saturday's win over Hyde as a precaution after picking up a knock.
Danny Jackman could return after missing Saturday because of a thigh strain but the fitness of Mickey Demetriou and Lee Vaughan will be assessed before the clash.
Fans not going to the game can follow all the action with The Shuttle's live match blog.
We will have team news before the 7.45pm kick-off followed by all the drama.
