Harriers striker racially abused during Alfreton win

HARRIERS have reported an incident of racial abuse to West Mercia Police after striker Amari Morgan-Smith was verbally attacked during Saturday's 3-1 win over Alfreton on Saturday.
The striker, who is on-loan from Macclesfield, complained about being abused by some of the away fans on Saturday.
The 23-year-old striker revealed on Twitter on Saturday evening he had been abused by some away supporters.
West Mercia Police and the Football Association are all being consulted and the club are co-operating in the fullest with enquiries being made.
Supporters who witnessed the incident are being urged to contact the police and share any information they may have.

The club enforces a zero-tolerance policy on racism and all forms of abuse and have warned that behaviour of this type from any fan attending matches at Aggborough as a home supporter or a visiting spectator are wholly unacceptable.
Harriers have also received the backing of Alfreton.
