HARRIERS boss Steve Burr had no complaints after he watched his lose 2-0 at Gateshead at Bootham Crescent last night.

Goals in the second half inflicted the Aggborough outfit's first defeat in eight games.

With Wrexham, Grimsby and Newport winning, the title-race in the Blue Square Bet Premier is wide open.

“I’ve got no real complaints," said Harriers' manager.

“I thought we were poor in the first have and just looked a bit leggy and lethargic in our play.

“We probably had the best chance of the half when Marvin Johnson should have scored after five or ten minutes – we picked it up a little bit in the second half but we weren’t really worthy of anything tonight with the performance.

“It’s a bonus to come to York because the pitch was decent so you can’t really blame anything other than ourselves tonight – we just didn’t get at them and create a lot to hurt Gateshead enough.”

Second-placed Harriers go to title rivals Grimsby on Saturday (3pm ko).
