HARRIERS have rewarded keeper Danny Lewis and captain Kyle Storer for their superb displays with new deals.

Lewis, with 107 appearances to his name, has penned terms on a new deal that keeps him here until the summer of 2015.

Storer has also signed on for two more seasons after this one after firmly establishing himself in the side and claiming the skipper’s armband.

Signed from Nuneaton in the summer of 2011, the midfielder has adjusted back to life in the full time game and was last season named Steve Burr’s player of the season.

“Danny has been with me since day one here and was unfortunate last year," commented Burr.

“My feeling is that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the division and for us to be able to get him tied up for two more seasons is great.

“Kyle has grown with every game he has played for us and he has shown the type of player he is and also capable of being.

“He is very proud of what he does and is very appreciative of the lifestyle he has got and wants to make the most of it – he knows what it is like to be working full time and doing jobs that are nowhere near as glamorous as playing football for a living.

“I’ve heard him talking to the lads in the dressing room about making the most of every opportunity – he is 100 per cent committed and loves to see players playing for the badge and the club.”
