NEW boss Gary Whild has wasted little time in strengthening his squad by bringing in highly-rated Birmingham City left-sider Amari’i Bell on a youth loan until the end of the season.

The-19 year-old is one of the Blues’ most promising young players and, despite being in his teens he has already made his senior debut, having played 90 minutes in the Championship against Leicester City earlier this term.

With pace and power and a comfort playing either at left-back or further up-field, the youngster has also benefited from Conference experience having spent plenty of this campaign out on loan at our promotion rivals Nuneaton Town.

He played more than 20 games for them having joined on loan at the start of the season, including our 2-1 defeat at Liberty Way back in August.

Having been recalled by Blues to cover at St Andrew’s amid injury problems and also started in City's 2-1 defeat to Leicester City in January.

He is now back out on loan, joining the Aggborough outfit until the end of the 2013-14 season.

“Games will be coming thick and fast so we need to help the lads who are here by bringing one or two in,” Whild commented.

“We have looked at Amari’i; he’s already played in the Championship and he is someone who can play in a number of positions.

“It’s good to bring someone like that in and it gives us a bit of cover on the left-hand side.”
