HARRIERS are hoping Michael Gash will be back for tomorrow’s home clash with relegation battling Southport.

The 13 goal hitman has recovered from a stomach bug which forced him out of Tuesday’s draw in Aldershot.

Harriers will be aiming to see off an improving Sandgrounders team who have picked up since John Coleman took the reins.

Southport have lost just once in five games, beating Grimsby, Macclesfield and Dartford.

With the race for the play-offs very close, it is important fifth-placed Harriers build on a good start to manager Gary Whild’s reign.

Whild has won two and draw two matches since taking over.

He said: "From what we've heard of them and what we've seen first-hand, they're deservedly in good form.

"The reports from [their game at Chester] Tuesday was that they were unlucky not to win.

"They're a hard-working side and difficult to play against; they have a new manager who has gone in and got them organised and they're desperate to stay in the league.

"We expected a hard game against Aldershot on Tuesday and certainly got that, and we're expecting a tough game on Saturday.”

Southport have the joint worst away record in the Skrill Premier with just one wun and four draws.

Captain Kyle Storer (hip) and Adrian Cieslewicz are both pushing for recalls.

Fans unable to make the clash can follow all the action with The Shuttle’s live match updates.

We’ll have team news and all the build-up before the 3pm kick-off.
