HARRIERS captain Kyle Storer has been hit with a three-match ban with immediate effect after admitting violent conduct charges.

Storer pleaded guilty at an FA hearing following a melee during the 1-1 draw at Salisbury City on April 29.

Harriers boss Gary Whild had been hoping to get the influential midfielder back for tonight's vital clash at Forest Green Rovers after he had served an initial one-match ban for obstructing a goal.

However, the verdict has come sooner than expected and the midfielder will miss games against Forest Green, Welling and Cambridge.

He should return for the Good Friday clash at Hyde.

Callum Gittings serves the second of his two-match ban, while Josh Gowling (pelvis) and Danny Jackman (ankle) are still injured.
