HARRIERS boss Gary Whild is confident his side will end their frustrating wait for a win when they entertain Welling on Saturday.

Kidderminster have picked up four points from a possible 15 in the Skrill Premier after four draws and one loss.

However, after encouraging displays against Grimsby and the second half against Forest Green Rovers, Whild wants three points.

The 11th-placed Aggborough outfit are six points off the play-off spots with five games to go and probably need to win all of their remaining games to reach their target.

Kyle Storer serves the second of his three match suspension but Callum Gittings is back from his two-match ban.

Josh Gowling has also had an injection for his troublesome pelvis injury and is nearing a return.

Winger Adrian Cieslewicz could be handed a start after his eye catching cameo at The New Lawn on Tuesday night.

“What you’ve got to take into account is that we’ve had one or two key players missing, said Whild.

“We’ve not had our captain, a centre half who is a valuable player and Callum Gittings, who has contributed to a lot of goals this season.

“I like it when you see the likes of Josh O’Keefe, who I thought was outstanding against Forest Green Rovers, step in.

“I also thought Aman Verma did well when he came on.

“We’ve got players who can win games. It was good to see Adrian Cieslewicz be a threat.

“He’s got to do that on a regular basis, he’s got a lot of potential but you can’t keep saying that, he has to fulfil that potential.

“I still think there is a massive opportunity to get ourselves into the top five.”

Harriers face a Welling side which has seen their own play-off hopes fade after just one win in seven.

A 1-0 defeat against cash-strapped crisis club Hereford United on Tuesday only further hampered their cause.

Meanwhile, Kidderminster striker Freddie Ladapo has seen his loan at Hayes and Yeading extended until the end of the season.

The former Colchester forward, who as signed by Andy Thorn on an 18 month deal, has been a regular starter for the London club since moving there a month ago.

Fans can read all about the result with a match report on The Shuttle’s website on Saturday evening.
