MIDFIELD pair Callum Gittings and Jack Byrne has signed new deals that keep them at Harriers next season.

Boss Gary Whild has wasted no time in shaping his squad for the 2014-15 campaign; with seven players already tied down at Aggborough, he’s now been able to boost that up to nine.

That comes with duo Jack Byrne and Callum Gittings both penning new one-year contracts.

Both players have been with Harriers for a number of years, Byrne being former manager Steve Burr’s first acquisition back in early 2010.

Gittings followed soon after in that summer and, between them, the pair are edging close to a total of 300 appearances in Kidderminster shirts.

Byrne has enjoyed a solid campaign in the season just past, his first after spending nearly a year on the side-lines; he made more than 40 appearances, chipping in with a handful of goals including one in the epic FA Cup win at Peterborough United.

Gittings meanwhile netted eight times in 2013-14 – his best return for the club – and has arguably been one of the team’s most consistent performers.

New deals for the pair keep them at Aggborough until the summer of 2015.
