Vaughan linked with Cheltenham move

RIGHT back Lee Vaughan has been linked with a switch to Football League Two side Cheltenham Town.

The 27-year-old was one of seven players offered a new deal by Kidderminster Harrier boss Gary Whild at the end of the season.

Vaughan, who was voted the supporters' player of the season, joined the Aggborough outfit in the summer of 2010 from Telford and has become of one the club's most reliable players.

His tenacious tackling and relentless right wing raids have provided a creative outlet for Harriers and made hime one of the Conference Premier's most impressive defenders.

Cheltenham boss Mark Yates revealed this week he was set to sign a right back and Vaughan, who is out of contract, is though to be top of his list of targets.

Vaughan has made 169 appearance in all competitions for Kidderminster, scoring seven goals.
