Solihull Moors 1, Harriers 1
NEW signing Craig Reid opened his Harriers account as they battled back from behind to earn a draw in Solihull.
Ex-Kidderminster hitman Darryl Knights had opened the scoring in the 12th minute for the home side.
But former Newport hitman Reid, one of manager Gary Whild’s big summer additions, produced a cool finish just over an hour into the game.
Jasbir Singh started against his former club, while new addition Ahmed Obeng and Reece Styche made their Reds debut in the first half.
After Knights had opened the scoring, former Rushall man Obeng created a chance for Nathan Blissett, whose shot was blocked. Callum Gittings and Blissett also had other opportunities in the first half.
But Obeng hobbled off after slipping on the damp pitch and was replaced by Reeces Hales.
In the second half, Reid nearly added a second after his leveller.
