GARY Whild hailed his strikers after Harriers won 3-2 at high-flying Woking.

The Reds bounced got back on track after three losses in four games by inflicting the Cards' first home defeat of the season in the Vanarama Conference.

Reece Styche opened the scoring before Michael Gash bagged a second.

Midfielder Kyle Storer added a third as Kidderminster stunned Woking with three goals in eight first half goals.

Harriers have struggled for goals this season but for the second game in a row,  Whild partnered Gash and Styche together and it paid off.

He said: "We have came away from a good side, who were unbeaten at home, who were in the top three.

"We've scored three great goals, defended heroically and I am delighted with the three points.

"I am delighted to see our strikers score. The defence gets a lot of plaudits, quite rightly, but it was good to see the lads hit the back of the net."

Woking hit back in the second half with second half efforts from Scott Rendell and Jack Marriott.

Keeper Danny Lewis also produced two stunning saves in a frantic six minutes of time added on.

"You could see why Woking were unbeaten at home," commented Kidderminster's manager.

"We played with purpose in the first half, were on the front foot and scored three good goals.

"When you go to a place like Woking you expect to be defending for periods.

"We scored three goals, their keeper made a world class save and we could have easily have added a few more.

"We knew it was going to be tough in the second half and that proved to be the case."
