HARRIERS’ out of sorts defence is set to face an Eastleigh side bristling with fire power in tomorrow’s FA Cup Fourth Qualifying clash at Aggborough.

While Kidderminster are slight favourites to progress and boast home advantage, the newly-promoted visitors from Hampshire boast an eye-catching forward trio in Stuart Fleetwood, Jack Midson and James Constable.

Harriers fans will remember Constable fondly after he scored 23 goals in all competitions before moving to Shrewsbury.

Fleetwood has been prolific for Forest Green, Luton and Hereford, while Midson scored 42 goals for AFC Wimbledon.

It certainly will be a challenge for Harriers who have struggled at the back in recent weeks.

After an impressively solid start to the season, Harriers conceded five avoidable goals against Halifax and Barnet.

Whild said: "I was disappointed with the goals we have conceded.

"But we've got very much the same defence which kept five clean sheets in the first five games so we know they can do better.

"At the moment we're struggling for consistency but we're like a number of teams in the league.

"Only Barnet have found any sort of consistency and that is why they are top.

"But if we can string four games together we'd be in the play-off spots."

He added: “Eastleigh have won promotion but are ambitious and spent a lot of money.

“They’ve brought in the likes of Stuart Fleetwood and James Constable, who the fans will remember, so we’re in for a very tough game.”

Kyle Storer returns after a one match ban but midfield partner Jack Byrne will serve a one match ban.

Jamie Grimes is set to keep his place in central defence because of Josh Gowling’s shoulder injury.

Harriers’ opponents have won the last two games and are level on points with the Reds, who have slipped into mid-table after a stuttering run of results.
