FORMER Wrexham keeper Joslain Mayebi has signed for Harriers on a non-contract basis.

The Cameroon-born keeper has been training with Kidderminster but has agreed a deal to act as competition for Danny Lewis.

He was brought to the club by assistant boss Mark Creighton, who played with Mayebi at Wrexham.

He said: "I'm fortunate and glad to be here and I'm looking forward to testing myself," he said.

"The non-contract terms are good for both parties.

"It's good to see some familiar faces - Creights was my team-mate at Wrexham, and I know players like Josh Gowling, Kyle Storer and of course Danny Lewis from playing against them before.

"I'll be looking to compete with Danny for a starting place.

"As a goalkeeper you have to wait for your time, but I'm ready for the challenge and I'll be doing my best to push to get into the team."

Mayebi had played 86 times for the Dragons but did not sign a new deal in the summer.
