IN-FORM Harriers face a tricky test at relegation battling Altrincham.

Kidderminster’s opponents may be hovering just outside the Vanarama Conference relegation spots but they boast ten goal hitman Damian Reeves and have hit some form.

A draw with Grimsby and a stirring win against Wrexham also mean Altrincham will have their tails up for tomorrow’s clash.

But the Aggborough outfit will not be short of confidence after good performances against Wrexham, Grimsby and Bristol Rovers as they earned an encouraging five points from a possible nine.

Manager Gary Whild said: “Altrincham will be a difficult place to go, especially after they drew with Grimsby and then went away and beat Wrexham - they’ve got a bit about them.

“They were 2-0 down with a man sent off against Wrexham and showed a lot of character to come back and win.

“When we played them at Aggborough, although we beat them comfortably, I was impressed with them for the first half an hour or so.

“They played in the right way and showed a lot of spirit, so we know it will be a tough game.”

Kyle Storer is making speedier than anticipated recovery but might not be ready for tomorrow’s clash.

Reece Styche is expected to return from his loan at Tamworth to bolster Kidderminster’s forward options.

Meanwhile, Harriers have been linked with Sutton Coldfield defence Jordan Tunnicliffe, who has previously played for West Bromwich Albion’s academy and Barnsley under-21s.

Altrincham’s Scott Leather is suspended after his dismissal against Wrexham.
