KIDDERMINSTER Harriers supporters are looking to end a tough season on a high with their fans' day at Aggborough on Saturday.

Three teams made up of the Reds faithful from supporters trust KHIST are set to be in action, with the one of the highlights a clash against a Harriers All-Star XI (1pm kick-off), managed by club legend Adie Smith.

Reds heroes such as Lee Hughes, Mark Yates, Delwyn Humphreys, Richard Forsyth and Wayne Hatswell will all be gracing the pitch.

The event kicks-off at 10am when the first supporters' team will tackle a side representing Red Brigade Harriers Supporters' Group.

At 4pm, the final squad will take on a side from the Hereford United Supporters' Trust, who have built a good relationship with KHIST.

Dave Pountney, one of the organisers, said: “This is a great chance for fans to end what has been a very testing season on a high.

“It’s great to see so many former players and legends taking part and it’s going to be a day to remember.”

The event has been running from 2008 and raised £10,000 for the club.

Spectators are welcome throughout the day and can gain entrance next to the club shop. Admission is just £1 and those attending will receive a KHIST lottery ticket.

Both manager Gary Whild and chairman Rod Brown will be in attendance and could take charge of one of the fans' teams.

In the evening, the Aggborough Suite will host live music by band La Vivas and entrance is free courtesy of Brown.

l Meanwhile, Harriers suffered a set back when defender Jamie Grimes turned down a new deal to join Vanarama National League rivals Dover Athletic.

Kidderminster will need a new goalkeeper after Jasbir Singh revealed on Twitter he is also moving on.

Meanwhile, released Reds duo Danny Lewis and Callum Gittings have joined Solihull Moors.
