HARRIERS will be hoping their recent improvement will finally help deliver a first win of the season when Lincoln City come to Aggborough tomorrow (3pm ko).

The Imps complete a series of important fixtures for Kidderminster in the Vanarama National League but after back-to-back draws against Halifax and Torquay, hopes remain that this will be the game they kickstart their season.

City come to Wyre Forest with problems of their own. After a solid start to the season, Lincoln have just won one of the last six games and have slipped to 14th in the table.

In contrast, Kidderminster are bottom of the league after five draws and five defeats.

Harriers will be kept on their toes by Lincoln’s top scorer Matt Rhead, who has scored eight goals.

Kidderminster are still without the suspended Luke Maxwell, who is serving his final match of a three-game ban, but have drafted in Aston Villa under-21 skipper Kevin Toner on a month long youth loan.

The 19-year-old signed a new deal with the Claret and Blue in June and was attracting interest from other Premier League clubs.

But Villa boss Tim Sherwood is keen for another product of the Birmingham club's youth academy to get some senior game time.

Head of footballer operations Gary Whild said: "We like Kevin and he is a lad we have been aware of for quite a long time and have put a lot of work into being able to sign him.

"He's very capable along that left-hand side and we are absolutely delighted."

Toner fills the gap left by Andrew Fox, who returned to parent club Peterborough, and joins the ranks of Tahvon Campbell, Andre Wright, Alex Palmer (all West Brom) and Kelvin Langmead (Ebbsfleet) who are temporarily at Harriers.
