IT was pies the limit at Aggborough on Tuesday night when visiting Burton Albion boss Nigel Clough reignited an old tradition at Kidderminster Harriers.
Clough bought his entire squad and training staff the famous pies as well as the popular Aggborough soup after the Brewers' 2-0 win.
The Burton boss, who returned to the club last season, had previously treated his players to the tasty treat every time they played at Harriers when the two sides were in the Conference Premier.
Murdoch said: "Nigel always bought 30 pies and soups after the game and he rang the club up a couple of days before the match to make sure he could do so again after the friendly.
"He's a really good manager and clearly our pies have struck a chord with him."
Harriers' pies are the most expensive in all of English Club football but are also popular among home and visiting supporters.
