JOHN Eustace believes his young Kidderminster Harriers side must learn to cope with being frustrated at home after yesterday’s 0-0 with Chorley.

It was a disappointing day for the Reds, who did improve from Tuesday’s loss to Brackley.

Despite largely having the best of the game, they needed a Sam Hornby penalty save to earn a point.

Mani Dieseruvwe and Zaine Francis-Angol also squandered late chances to score.

"I thought the performance was okay, it was better than Tuesday night," said Harriers’ boss.

"It was a point and you have to take the positives and I thought Sam Hornby was great.

"I felt we played some good football in the first half and our attitude was a lot better than on Tuesday night.

"Teams are going to come here and try and stop us playing and I thought Chorley's game plan was very good.

"It is a work in progress and three games in and overall I am fairly happy."

He added: “Last week we scored six goals but it was more difficult in the last two games as the opposition stopped us from playing.

“But we have to keep being brave and stick to the way we want to play and hopefully we’ll create a few more chances score a few more goals.

“My young group will have to learn from it and we’ll be working very hard to make that happen.

“I am really disappointed not to get a home win in the first two games but I’d like to thank the fans for coming out because they’ve been fantastic.”
