How they rated:

Kidderminster 2, Curzon Ashton 2

Hall: Another good display from the Harriers keeper. Totally untroubled in the first half but had to make a string of saves in the second as Curzon Ashton found more joy in the final third. Got a hand to Cummins' late leveller but was too powerful to keep out. 7.5.

Austin: A really good showing once more from the attack-minded right back. At the heart of his side's early advances forward yet has the energy to slot back in and pick up his defensive duties too. Also set up Ironside's second half header with an fine in-swinging delivery with his left foot. 8.5.

Taylor: Another solid display from the left back. Always keen to support the attack and produced one eye-catching bust of pace to get away in the first half. Took a knock late on but was soon back to his feet and working hard. 7.

Croasdale: Good showing from the captain. Made some important tackles in a packed midfield and broke the deadlock with a fine individual effort after breaking into the box from midfield. 8.

Horsfall: Composed on the ball but did have an easy time in the first half as the visitors never spend long in the final third. More defending to do in the second half and did reasonably well but did get pulled too deep for Curzon's late leveller. 7.

Williams: Similar to Horsfall. Comfortable with the ball at his feet and hardly tested first half. Part of a back line that conceded two though once pressure was applied. He and Horfall need more time to gel. 7.

Sonupe: Good energy from the attacker. Always keen to take on his man and enjoyed a lot of the ball as Harriers made a good start to the contest. His final ball didn't quite come off tonight and he passed up perhaps the best opening of the game with only keeper Wilson to beat in the first half. 7.5.

McQuilkin: Was at the heart of everything early on and always looking to receive the ball in tight areas. Forced off with injury just past the half hour mark after a late tackle in midfield. Harriers lost some of their momentum after his departure. 7.5.

Ironside: Passed up some early chances with his head and didn't look sharp enough at times. Always a willing runner to lead the line though and did get his reward for that when heading home Austin's cross in the second half. Getting in the right areas but is just struggling to provide more finishes. 7.

Ngwatala: Difficult evening for the tricky attacker. Having to drop far too deep to try and get on the ball, which is always a bad sign for him. Worked hard but didn't have the impact we know he can. 6.5.

Bradley: Perhaps his best game since his return. Some really good movement off the ball early on when Harriers were quick out the blocks. Linked up well and showed signs off just what he is capable off. Did drift out of it a little in the second half as Curzon battled back. 7.5.

Subs:

Longbottom: Early replace for McQuilkin but slotted in to a central midfield role with ease. Kept it simple and got back to make some important blocks late on. 7.5.

Wright: Replaced Bradley for the closing stages. Tried to break with pace but didn't quite get up to tempo. 6.5.

Brown: Replaced Sonupe for the final 10 minutes. Got involved quickly but couldn't force a killer third goal. Worked hard in support of Ironside though. 6.5.

Unused subs: Weeks, Webb.
