JOHN Eustace is targeting another professional FA Cup performance when Kidderminster Harriers go to Newcastle Benfield this Saturday.

The Reds successfully negotiated a potential upset in the previous round when beating Deeping Rangers 4-2.

They now make the long trip to the North East for this weekend's third qualifying round clash against their Northern League Division One opponents.

Eustace said: "We have looked at them and are expecting a tough game.

"We will approach it just the same way we did against Deeping Rangers and will need to be professional and show good character away from home.

"It's all about ourselves now. I'm not interested in any other team and just want to make sure we worry about what we can do."

Harriers go into the contest on the back of a nine-goal thriller against Blyth Spartans last Saturday.

Eustace's men won 5-4 thanks to a brace of headers from new defensive recruit James Pearson as well as goals for Andre Brown, Mani Sonupe and Andre Wright.

The manager was delighted with the character of his players to make sure they came out on top.

He said: "I think everyone enjoyed the game and it was pleasing to get the win.

"The players showed excellent character to dominate and get themselves back ahead again in the second half.

"We have then done enough to hold on at the end.

"It's very pleasing and another good learning opportunity for the boys. It showed how we are developing as a group."

Dan Bradley made a big stride towards full fitness when returning from injury to play the whole of the second half against Blyth. He is now be pushing to feature again this weekend.
