How they rated:

Harriers 2, Telford 0

Hall: Quiet for long spells as Harriers dominated the ball but kept his concentration well to save from Jordan Murphy late in the second half. 7.

Pearson: Really impressive from the full back who got up and down the right flank all afternoon. Should have won a penalty in the first half and did his defensive duties well. 7.5.

Austin: Had to switch to a more attacking role after Sonupe's injury but settled well to provide a threat. 7.

Croasdale: Accomplished display from the skipper. In the right place at the right time to protect his back line when Telford did threaten. Always an option in the attacking third too and help move the ball well. 7.5.

Horsfall: Another towering display from the defender on the back of signing a permanent deal at Aggborough. 8.

O'Connor: Big showing from the experienced campaigner who partnered Horsfall well. Won his battles and positioned himself well to deal with Telford's increased second half threat. 8.

Sonupe: Lively early on but soon forced off with an ankle injury to add to a long list of those on the treatment table. 6.5.

McQuilkin: He played a vital role in midfield to link play well, especially in the absence of the injured Declan Weeks. Energy to start attacks as well as track back. 7.5.

Brown: Some nice touches to lay the ball off in the first half and provided the finish as Harriers broke the deadlock. Forced off at the break through injury. 7.

Ngwatala: Found space well and caused Telford a lot of issues in key areas. Always willing to take on his marker and unlucky not to have added to his tally this season when forcing Singh into a fine save in the first half. 7.5.

Truslove: He's had to be patient due to injury but showed he is more than capable of stepping into the starting 11. His powerful drive led to Harriers' second. 7.

Subs:

Wright: Came on for the injured Brown at half time. Took him a while to get up to the speed of the game but eventually showed some neat touches and reacted quickly to fire in the rebound for number two. 7.

Taylor: Came on for Sonupe in the first half and slotted in at left back to allow Austin to push forward. Solid showing with added flair when he gets in the final third. Had a hand in the opener before being booked for diving after one burst forward in the second half. 7.

Williams: Late replacement for Truslove to see his side over the line. N/A.

Unused subs: Smith, Palmer.
