KIDDERMINSTER boss John Eustace has ordered his players to rediscover their killer instinct heading into the final months of the campaign.

Harriers conceded late to lose 2-1 at Darlington last Saturday despite having the chances to take something from the contest.

That followed their 2-0 home defeat to Harrogate Town when wayward finishing was again highlighted by the manager.

Eustace said: "I thought we played very well, especially in the first half when we should have been three or four up.

"In the second half, we battled well and it was just disappointing to concede so late.

"We couldn't have got a tougher away trip following a defeat but I'm pleased with how we did.

"The main issue is that we weren't clinical enough again.

"We need to be better in front of goal because we have created enough chances.

"It would be worrying if we weren't playing well but our performances have been good.

"We now have to stop the run of defeats but there is certainly no need to panic."

Sixth-placed Reds now welcome fifth-placed York City to Aggborough this Saturday as they look to consolidate a National League North play-off place.

"We're looking forward to the game," added Eustace. "It's a big game and a chance for us to get back to winning ways.

"Hopefully the fans can get right behind us at home like they have done all season. They make a real difference for the lads."

Harriers have no new injury worries ahead of the weekend but defenders Joel Taylor and Jimmy O’Connor remain a doubt.

Meanwhile, Defender Kennedy Digie is to remain out on loan at fellow Vanarama National League North side Nuneaton Town.

Digie has been with the Boro for the last couple of months and has worked his way into the team, now a regular feature at the heart of their defence. He'll now stay there until the end of March.

* Harriers' home league match against Stockport County next Tuesday night (March 6) has been postponed.

County are now due to play in an FA Trophy replay meaning a new date will now be arranged.
