Burr has no illusions on FA Cup draw

HARRIERS boss Steve Burr remains under no illusions about their forthcoming FA Cup trip to Skrill North side Bradford Park Avenue on October 26.
Burr claimed: “We want to have a good run in the FA Cup this season, but it’s a tricky tie. Bradford PA are doing quite well at the moment and they have nothing to lose and will be up for it, whereas we’ll be expected to win”.
Burr was less than impressed by the manner in which the draw was made live on TalkSport with Colin Murray adding: “They messed about with it and made the draw sound as though we’d got Wrexham. You just want the draw to be done!
Unhappy Burr has also fired a broadside at the FA over their decision to uphold the red card issued to James Dance at the end of last week’s game against Forest Green Rovers.
Burr confirmed: “What disappoints me the most is the fact we don’t even get an explanation. We supplied them with video evidence, which we felt showed that James was blameless.
“Their player (Aaron Raccine) has pulled James up by his hair and then shoved his face into James. What was our player supposed to do?
“It’s hard enough to appeal if we didn’t have any grounds to and it just makes you wonder what is the point in appealing”
