Club score an 'own goal' over sponsor

HO can blame John Davies, owner of the company Hire It!, Harriers' shirt sponsors for withdrawing the sponsorship after being snubbed by chairman Barry Norgrove and the board.
Surely with Mr Davies' record of sponsoring the club for the last four years to the tune of almost £100,000 and help he has given the club over many years he should have been welcomed to the board with open arms.
Once again Norgrove and the board have scored a massive own goal with this decision. Along with throwing in the towel as regards a play-off place in the league two months ago, a cut in playing budget and financial director John Baldwin still scratching his head on how to prise the money owing from Wembley for last year's Trophy Final, supporters must be wondering just whose side the board is on.
