KIDDERMINSTER Harriers will face a tough test trying to extend their unbeaten run in the Blue Square Premier to seven games when they take on Cambridgeshire side Histon at Aggborough on Saturday.
Harriers are brimming with confidence after winning five of the last six matches and thumping Halifax 6-1 at The Shay Stadium on Tuesday night.
But to do that they will have to overcome buoyant Histon, who are also high on confidence and have not lost in the league for seven games.
The newly promoted side have been the division's surprise package this season and are riding hiding three place above Harriers in seventh.
Manager Mark Yates also has several selection headaches before Saturday's clash. First choice goalkeeper Chris MacKenzie may have also recovered from a quad injury and could replace Dean Coleman, who has deputised ably for the last four games.
Yates also has to choose between Russ Penn and Darryl Knights to play in the hole behind the strikers.
Penn scored four goals in Tuesday's win over Halifax but Knights, who was rested mid-week, will be vying for a place in the side.
Histon manager Steve Fallon will be without defender Craig Pope and striker Neil Andrews, both of whom are out with long term injuries.
