Harriers aiming to give Albion Brewers droop

HARRIERS will be hoping to delay promotion-chasing Burton Albion's play-off party when the Brewers come to Aggborough in a Blue Square Premier derby tonight.

Victory for Nigel Clough's side would ensure that Albion secure a place in the end of season promotion play-offs.

The visitors need just one win from their last two matches to ensure they still have a chance of making it into the Football League.

Harriers will be eager to put on a show in front of their own fans in their final home game of the season.

After two draws against Altrincham and Histon at Aggborough in recent weeks and Saturday's narrow 2-1 loss to Weymouth, Harriers will be eager to get back on track and find the form which carved out a seven-game unbeaten run.

Harriers boss Mark Yates has a full strength squad to choose from for tonight's Midlands derby game.

He will have to choose between keepers Dean Coleman and Chris MacKenzie for tonight's clash.

MacKenzie made a return from injury after a five-game absence at Weymouth and made several errors which led to Harriers' 2-1 loss and will be eager to prove he is worth a contract next season.

Paul Bignot is set to keep his place at right-back after Jeff Kenna joined Galway United as manager on Monday.

Burton, who have won the last two games in a row after a stuttering run of form in recent weeks, could be without the key duo of Daryl Clare and Keith Gilroy through injury.

Clough may risk the duo as Clare is Burton's 20-goal top scorer and Gilroy is their most creative player with 14 assists.

Harriers pulled off one of the best results of the season when they got the better of Burton 2-0 at the Pirelli Stadium 2-0 in November, with goals for Bignot and Russ Penn.

Shuttle On-Line will have team line-ups and live match updates from 7.45pm onwards.
