Marshall double sends Swifts through

Marshall double sends Swifts through Two goals from Craig Marshall and a late Richard Colwell strike helped Stourport Swifts to a 3-1 victory over visitors Malvern Town in the Worcestershire Senior Cup.

And the win means caretaker boss Paul Davies can look forward to a return to former club Kidderminster Harriers in the next round.

There were just six minutes on the clock when Marshall opened the scoring, heading home a left wing cross.

The striker doubled his and Stourport's tally four minutes later, tapping the ball into the net following some excellent work out on the right from Craig Webb.

Craig Selby reduced the arrears midway through the second half but Swifts made sure of their passage into the next round when Colwell collected a Marshall pass before lifting the ball over the advancing keeper.
