Swifts boss in Hunt for new players
NEW Stourport Swifts boss Neil Hunt hopes to have brought in some new faces before Saturday's BGB Southern League Midlands Division One clash away at Rothwell Town.
Hunt is hopeful to bring midfielder Nathan Jukes back to Stourport Swifts from league rivals Cinderford Town before Saturday's clash.
The manager, who replaced Paul Davies last week, is also hopeful of bringing in striker Duncan Willetts from Rushall Olympic and Dean Roberts from Hunt's former club Pershore Town.
He worked with the trio at Malvern Town and is also trying to bring in brothers Richard and Lee Tomkins, who are currently at Pershore Town and were also at Malvern when Hunt was in charge.
"Nathan Jukes is a lad I have worked with before and I hoping to bring him in before Saturday," said Hunt.
"We need leaders on the pitch and Nathan will certainly be able to provide that."
