Furnace Mill Fishery – On a chilly Sunday, 14 anglers were spread around the pools.

In first place was Iwan Mills (Robins Timber) peg 38 on Mucky Meadow Pool who landed 62lb 14oz.

Second and third came from Mill Pool and they were Daz Randle (Mossella BC) with 53lb 11oz from peg 88 in the far corner and Ed Gray (Furnace Mill) on peg 92 with 42lb 12oz.

Chris Whitehouse (Furnace Mill) was a close fourth with 40lb 6oz from peg 47 on Mucky.

Wren’s Nest AC – Result of the fur and feather match on a frozen canal at Oldington (12 fished): Joint winners: 1 B Rushbrook/J Baylie 0.6.0; Joint 3rd T Wills/C Brooks/J Novak 0.3.0.

The next contest is on Sunday, January 20 on Staffs/Worc canal 12-15 (draw at 8am).

Old Bear AC – The annual general meeting s on Sunday at the Broadwaters Inn (meet at 10.45am).

Cock and Magpie Rodmasters AC – Final result of 2012 River Aggregate Competition: 1 Keith Bunce 83 points; 2 Fred Penn 81; 3 Andy Cogzell 80; 4= Alan Turner and John Allison 78; 6 Dave Smith 76.

The annual general meeting is on Sunday, January 13 at Kidderminster Harriers Social and Supporters Club. New members most welcome.

Golden Maggot AC – This year’s fur and feather is this Sunday at Moorlands (draw 8.45am) with fishing 10am to 3pm.

Bewdley AS – Result from Droitwich Canal: Marc Brown and Dave Wooley tied first with 0-13; 3 Clive James 0-11.
