Still time to vote for your favourite
4:41pm Wednesday 2nd January 2013 in Local
THE search to find The Shuttle’s Sports Personality and Club of the year is taking shape.
After two weeks intense voting, we’re beginning to see who on both shortlists has made a strong start.
With the deadline noon on January 24, there is plenty of time for your vote to make a difference.
Kidderminster Carolians RFC and Kidderminster and Stourport AC are leading the way in the Club of the Year race.
But Kidderminster Lions FC, Bewdley Tennis Club and Wyre Forest Swimming Club can still make up ground and win the vote.
Meanwhile, Wyre Forest CRC cycling pair Phil Hunt and Chris Morris have streaked into a commanding lead in the Sports Personality ballot.
However, swimmers Claire Cashmore and Amy Smith, sailor Alison Young and Samurai Judo Club’s Brendan Crummy, inset, are not out of the running with three weeks to go ahead of the deadline.
Don’t forget, your vote could prove to be pivotal in deciding the outcome of both competitions, so don't hesitate to go online and have your say.
