Jones bags a treble to sink Welland

KIRSTY Jones bagged a hat-trick as Wyre Forest Phoenix Ladies saw off bottom side Welland 3-0 in the County Football League.

Welland’s goalkeeper was outstanding as she denied Chelsea Mudge, Kayleigh Turner, Kirsty Roberts and Kat Meredith in the opening 20 minutes.

However, the game was sealed in the second half with a treble from Jones, even though she failed to score from the penalty spot.
