CLEOBURY Mortimer returned to action at the weekend after an enforced break because of the snow to hold their men’s Texas scramble.

In second place, the team made up of Ian Gough, Yoshi Oyama, Harry Edwards, and Ian Duncan posted a respectable score of a nett 60.

The quartet had led until almost the end when the team was made up of Josh Carpenter, Dave Beach, Dave Smith and Simon Hector produced a fine round to seal top spot.

•  Little Lakes won their first round of the Mail on Sunday when they defeared Fulford Heath 4-1.
•  Kidderminster have revealed all of their winners for last year.

Rising star Henry James had a fine 12 months, winning the Knight Cup, Welsh Boys Championship as well as the Wyre Forest District Council Sports awards’ senior male award.
