CHESS: Kidderminster Rooks defeated Droitwich 2½-1½ in Division Two of the Worcester and District league.

In Worcestershire League Division Two, Kidderminster won 3-2 at the Greenlands club in Longbridge.

Results v Droitwich: J Varilone ½, N Arkell ½; A Preece 1, A Kirkland 0; P Thomas ½, W Watson ½; T Pountney ½, R Butler ½.
