Success for Evans and Thomas

ROGER Evans and Andy Thomas won Cleobury Mortimer’s men’s March betterball tournament.

Early starters Aaron Booton and Simon Eades shot a sublime 40 points, which was matched by Les Stanford and Gordon Moriaty who thought they had done enough to win.

However, Evans and Thomas had other ideas as they finished strongly to record 41 points and pip the chasing pack.
