BEWDLEY Town have been handed a testing start in the FA Cup after being drawn away at Bromsgrove Sporting.
Town will visit the Victoria Ground in the extra-preliminary round on Saturday, August 16.
It would be a return to his former stomping ground for Bewdley manager Phil Mullen, who was at the helm of Sporting’s predecessors Bromsgrove Rovers in the late 1980s.
The winners will then have an away trip to either Coleshill Town or Nuneaton Griff on August 30.
Barwell at home await which ever team progresses in the first qualifying round on September 13.
Bewdley have a home game against Coventry Sphinx in the first qualifying stage of the FA Vase on Saturday, September 6.
The reward for progression is then a home clash against Studley or Bilston on Saturday, October 4.
Meanwhile, Bewdley face one of their biggest pre-season games of the summer when when they entertain Stourbridge on Saturday (3pm ko).
Bewdley then take on Worcester City on July 19, followed by Badsey Rangers on July 22.
Bewdley then go to Wyre Forest rivals Stourport Swifts on July and entertain Evesham on Saturday, August 2, before the league starts the following week.
