Hammer down: Katie Lambert won gold at the National Athletic Championships in Bedford.
ATHLETICS: Kidderminster and Stourport AC starlet Katie Lambert completed the golden double this weekend after success at the National Athletics Championships.
The youngster won gold in the U17 girls hammer in Bedford.
Earlier in the year, Lambert had won the gold medal at the English Schools championships at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium.
She is currently the number one ranked hammer thrower for her age group in the UK.
Lambert has represented England twice this year at both under 17 and under 20 level.
