Top ranked: Jack Lambert was in fine form in Wrexham at the weekend.
KIDDERMINSTER and Stourport AC youngster Jack Lambert went the distance at the field championships in Wrexham.
Jack won the under-13s boys section after taking gold in the hammer with a throw of 32 metres.
He also bagged a silver in the discus, with his 25-metre distance making him the top ranked boy in the Midlands U13s category.
In an excellent weekend for Stourport and Kidderminster, Jess Surridge set three new personal bests in the under-15s girls event and Katie Lambert won gold in the under-17s girls hammer.
