BEWDLEY Town made it back-to-back wins as they stunned high-flying Black Country Rangers 6-1 in the West Midlands Premier on Saturday.
The Ribbesford Meadow side produced their most impressive win of the season.
The game had been goalless at half-time before falling behind just after the re-start.
However, four goals in 20 minutes left Rangers reeling. Edward Flory bagged a brace, while James Baldwin, Thomas Bishop, Russell Godfrey and Liam Hodges also hit the back of the net.
Manager Phil Mullen has warned that Bewdley will only continue to move up the table if all the player are available.
He said: “We fell behind early in the second half but we took our chances and could have scored more.
“We’ve been close to good results before but the problem we have had is that we don’t always have all the players available.
“It’s a new team and we are far from the finished product, so it will take time.”
Bewdley will be aiming to make it three wins in a row at home to bottom of the table Shifnal on Saturday (3pm ko). They then go to Gornal on Tuesday (7.45pm ko).
